The New SanDisk Sansa Fuze MP3 Player: Is it worth it?

The new Sansa Sandisk Fuze is very aesthetically pleasing. It is 3.1in. x 1.8in x 0.3in and the screen is 1.9in.  It comes in three different sizes: 2gb, 4gb, and 8gb and they are relatively cheap. They range anywhere from $44.95 - $69.99. The front of the Fuze is made of a smooth hard plastic while the back is made of metal. The clickable scroll wheel is something that is common between all the sansa models. It also comes in 5 different colors: Red, Blue, Black, Pink, and Silver.

There is a slight problem with the screen's protective coating in that it casts a grainy overcast over the screen. This overcast tends to make the screen seem kinda grainy and affects the images on the screen. It would be nicer if the Sandisk Fuze would come with a usb adapter or something similar. Instead they have a charger that is only made to charge/transfer the Fuze (or some other Sansa product). It comes with a microSD slot. This slot can take SD cards up to 12gb.It has an amazing battery life that can last for up to 24 hours for audio playback and 5 hours for video playback.

The sound quality isn't all that amazing but you get what you pay for. It does play music, videos, images  and audio books. It also comes with a FM transmitter and a built in microphone. Overall the Sansa Sandisk Fuze is a great option for people who are looking for a cheap alternative to an ipod.
